Comparison
Done-for-you outreach vs a tool you run yourself
Software like GoHighLevel, Apollo or Instantly and a service like this one get compared a lot, but they are not the same kind of thing. One sells you the machinery; the other runs it. Which is right depends less on features than on whether anyone at your company has time to operate outbound every week.
We have not listed their prices or features here. Those change, and a comparison table that quietly goes out of date is worse than no table — go and read theirs.
| A tool you operate | This service | |
|---|---|---|
| Who builds the prospect list? | You do, or you buy one and import it. | We source it for your niche and market. You can bring a list too, and steer who we target. |
| Who writes the emails? | You write the templates and the variables. | Our AI reads each prospect’s own site and writes them their own email. No two are the same. |
| Who runs it day to day? | You. Sequences, sending windows, list hygiene, replies. | We do. There is no dashboard you have to operate. |
| What happens when someone replies? | It lands in the tool for you to work. | It forwards to your inbox and we stop contacting that prospect. |
| Who owns the deliverability problem? | You — warm-up, authentication, bounce rate, reputation. | We do. Sending addresses warm on their own schedule and volume scales by adding them. |
| What are you paying for? | Software seats and sending capacity. | The work. Flat monthly, single seat, no per-message meter. |
When a tool is the better answer
Genuinely — if any of these is you, buy the software instead. It will cost less and fit better.
- ·You already have someone whose job is outbound, and they want to control every step.
- ·You need a CRM, pipeline stages and deal management — we do outreach, not deal tracking.
- ·Your outreach depends on data only your team has, and could not be researched from a prospect’s site.
The actual question
A tool is cheaper per month and free of a retainer, but it only produces anything if someone sits down and works it every week. Most owners who buy one stop using it inside a quarter — not because it was bad software, but because outbound is a job and nobody had it. If you have that person, buy the tool. If you do not, paying for the work is the cheaper of the two.
